The origin

Tentris was born out of more than a decade of research at Paderborn University. Our work on graph theory, worst case optimal joins, and novel data structures led to the Hypertrie, a fundamentally new foundation for graph databases. It wasn't designed to win benchmarks. It was designed to solve a problem others couldn't.

For engineers, a few dozen lines of well-reasoned code beat a database built with AI. For business roles, we'd rather see one painful customer interview than ten optimistic forecasts.
